Moons Chocolates Shipping Policy

At Moons Chocolates, we take every precaution to ensure your chocolates arrive fresh and intact. Each bar is handcrafted in small batches and made to order, guaranteeing the highest quality and freshness. Please read the following policy carefully to understand our shipping process and terms.


Order Processing Times

Processing times refer to the time it takes to prepare your order for shipment. Since our chocolates are made fresh, processing times may vary:

  • Standard Periods: Orders are processed within 2-3 business days before shipping.
  • High Volume Periods (e.g., holidays, product launches): Processing may take up to 5 business days due to increased demand.

(Please note that Shopify’s estimated processing times do not reflect our made-to-order timeline.)


Shipping Times

Shipping times refer to the transit time once your order has been shipped.

  • Depending on your location and the shipping method selected, delivery typically takes 3-5 business days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

Shipping to Warm States

We ship from Georgia, and while we take every precaution to protect your chocolates, heat can affect transit to warm regions.

  • Orders are packed with ice packs and insulated mailers to minimize the risk of melting.
  • During hot weather (70°F and above), chocolates may still soften despite cooling measures.
  • To ensure the best quality, we recommend selecting USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days shipping) to minimize transit time.
  • All orders shipped to warm states are considered “ship at your own risk.”

Address and Shipping Method Accuracy

  • Please double-check your shipping address and selected shipping method before completing your order.
  • Once a shipping label has been created, we cannot issue refunds or change the shipping address.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, even if a product refund is issued, as these fees are paid directly to the carrier.

Damaged or Missing Shipments

  • Photos of the damaged items
  • Photos of the original packaging

While we do our best to prevent shipping issues, we cannot be responsible for melted chocolates shipped to warm states or orders outside our guaranteed shipping area.
